The book I had read was Tulsa Buring by Anna Myers.

• This book took place in 1921

• they did not have slaves during that time
• the jobs they had were police men who were white and i believe black too
• When Tulsa burned to the ground over 1,000 African Americans lost there homes.
• At that time there were farmers who were poor
